CASA of Southwest Idaho
Protecting children. Serving communities. Empowering volunteers.
We exist to serve children who have been abused and neglected and are placed in the child protection system. We come alongside children and youth 0-18 years old to provide best-interest advocacy through a caring and invested CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Volunteer the entire time a child is in care. We serve Idaho in Adams, Washington, Payette, Gem, Owyhee, and Canyon counties.
Our vision is to see all children in foster care thrive in safe, nurturing, loving, and permanent homes.
Be their voice in just 8 hours a month.
A voice for the voiceless
Our CASA Volunteers are mentored and supported by an Advocate Supervisor on staff. With their guidance, CASA Volunteers give 5-8 hours of their time each month to visit the child, learn about what is going on in their world, and write a report to help the Judge know how to best support the child during their time in foster care, and beyond. Our unique role is to advocate for whatever is in the child's best interest!
