Our Executive Director, Christina Walker, has left our program to pursue other opportunities. We wish her all the best, and know that she'll continue to make a beautiful difference wherever she lands next.
She left us with this heartfelt farewell:
It’s with a heavy heart that I am leaving this amazing program. Over the four years that I’ve been here we’ve built something impressive together. We’ve increased the number of volunteers serving children by almost 270% and the number of child victims served by almost 95%. Together we’ve built a strong foundation. With that in the past, just imagine what the future might bring! I wish only good things for this program and everyone with it, and most importantly, all of the children it serves. I know I’m leaving it in good hands. The staff we’ve attracted are a passionate force for good and I’m sure will continue to support you and the important and outstanding work that you do for children. I feel truly honored and blessed to have met all of you and gotten to know some of you well. Thank you so much for all that you’ve done and will continue to do for victimized children. I will miss working with you all!
-Christina Walker
During this time of transition, the CASA Board of Directors has named Tammy Dittenber as Interim Director (effective immediately) to assist in moving the program forward until recruitment of a New Executive Director is completed.
Our staff is hopeful and excited for the future. Together, we will continue to do important and life-changing advocacy work for the kids we have the honor of representing. Thank you for your investment in this organization.
