In spite of the uncertainty that the pandemic has brought to our world, Idaho really came through this year for Idaho Gives! Twenty-five generous champions for foster children helped us raise $2,285 via our online Idaho Gives campaign (see below).
Meanwhile, Bitner Vineyards went above and beyond for local foster children. They and their generous wine club members raised $4,350 for CASA of Southwest Idaho, bringing our Idaho Gives total to a record $6,635. This total will help us reach eleven more foster children this year--that's eleven children who are 50% less likely to be re-abused, and 800% more likely to graduate high school, all because of generous donors in our community.
Bitner Vineyards made their donation in the name of two very beloved young men, Isac Herrera Abrego and Calletano Duarte Perez. These men have many people who love them, and now they have a legacy of changing foster children's lives.
